An innovative system for automatic weight control and hand baggage measurements
LOGISCAN is a machine developed to automate the hand baggage check process, to optimize the flow of passengers and reduce waiting times at the gates.
The system works in self-service mode: reads the boarding card and verifies its validity through the connection to airport information systems.
LOGISCAN then performs the measurement of the weight and size of the baggage, verifying that they comply with the rules of the airline, authorizing or not access to the boarding area.
The system is also able to calculate the additional cost in case of excess weight or size.
